FM Logistics ( https://www.fmlogistic.com ) is one of the leading companies in the logistics market. The company provides a full range of supply chain management services and is successfully developing a network of regional warehouses around the world.
One of the subsidiaries in Europe needed to migrate its local division to the new IT service management system as quickly as possible, avoiding data loss and minimizing the impact on the company’s business processes.
For FM Logistic, SimpleOne was the ideal solution because, in addition to functionality similar to that of ServiceNow, it allows processes to be customized with the help of low-code tools.
The migration to SimpleOne’s ITSM system helped FM Logistic’s employees not only to maintain documentation, but also to successfully improve their internal incident and change management processes.
The project was implemented in four months: from January to April 2023.
Five people were involved in the integrator’s team: a project manager, an ITSM systems architect, two developers and a systems analyst. The successful migration of the entire backlog of user requests from FM Logistic’s division to SimpleOne’s ITSM system included:
- More than 50,000 incidents;
- More than 4,500 requests;
- More than 1,000 configuration items, creation of missing fields;
- All request history: comments, status, dates;
- Migration of existing SLA tables.
It is important to note that during the implementation phase there was no interruption of services at any time, and the integration resources between the systems allowed this migration to be totally transparent for users.
Thanks to the coordinated work and close cooperation with FM Logistic’s specialists, the project was successfully completed on time and within the agreed budget.
